http://www.thefirehouse5.com/
Q. Do I need a reservation?
A. We hold classes on a walk-in basis, so drop by anytime!
Q. When do they take place?
A. Please check the events calendar on our homepage for up to date class schedule information.
Q. Do I have to have dance experience?
A. Absolutely not! Burlesque is an art form that is all about you, and the fusion is all about learning to embrace your natural style of movement and making it work for you! Complete novices and experienced technical dancers alike have found the series both entertaining and personally challenging - but always a ton of fun and a memorable experience :)
Q. What can I expect out of Burlesque Fusion Class?
A. The Siren Instructors lead the class through a basic warm up, and jump right into some engaging combo exercises and then whip it all together to create a bit of routine choreography you can practice at home - routine styles vary with every class/session, but always involve aspects of classical burlesque, including but not limited to glove removal, hat & cane/chair dances, and of course injected with The Siren's signature fusion style!
The Siren's Burlesque Fusion is always a blast and allows students to jump out of their shell and explore their sensuality through improvisation and personal interpretation of the choreography - after all, burlesque is an art form that is all about you!
Q. What should I wear to class?
A. Anything that does not limit your mobility works well (as you will need your full range of motion to fully experience the workout!) - yoga pants, shorts, stockings w/booty shorts, tank top/tshirt, jazz shoes/sneakers, etc. will all suit you well!
Q. Do I pay for classes as I go, or can I pay in full for the session?
A. Because these classes are walk-in/ongoing, we do not currently offer a pay in full option. The class fee of $15 can be given to your Siren Instructor on the day of each class you attend. If you would like to make a workshop reservation, please contact us and we will respond with payment options.
